Increasing Access to Medication Therapy for Opioid Addiction

Buprenorphine and other forms of Medication Therapy are the most effective treatments for opioid use disorder. It is recommended by multiple health organizations, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the American Medical Association, and the World Health Organization.

Yet, only 10% of those affected by opioid addiction have access to these treatments. There is a growing movement of physicians becoming waivered to prescribe these treatments - in the past year alone the total number of waivered physicians increased by nearly 50%. You can contribute to this movement and become a part of the growing number of waivered physicians saving lives. Join the fight today!
